I am looking for 2 seniors graduating in 2014 from area schools to be representatives for me. Being a representative can be a lot of fun, you’ll get a FREE photo shoot, PAID and a chance to win a cool tablet!  I’m looking for fun, outgoing individuals who are involved in their high school, whether it being sports or school clubs. Someone who can loosen up and have fun being in front of the camera. If you are interested in being a representative for me, please fill out this questionnaire-don’t worry it’s not graded and I will get in contact with you if you are one of the chosen ones 🙂

Here’s a little glimpse into a wedding album I just finished creating for a client, along with two parents albums.  I found these boxes online after searching HOURS, literally, for them, I didn’t realize finding square boxes would be so difficult.  I was hoping to find white or grey, but black and brown were the only options.  The packaging is kind of a work in the process, this is the first one I’ve packaged up, so I’ll be adding a little more to it next time to make it even more personal.  But I really do like the boxes, they fit the albums perfectly and are nice and sturdy.

The large album is 10×10 layflats and the parents are 8×8 layflats.

October 21st I am having mini sessions, for the first time I have decided to give back.  This is the season to give right? There was a local mom in my moms group that lost her husband, Chase, back in May. Did I mention she had a 17 month old at the time? And she was 20 weeks pregnant with their second child, they had just found out 2 weeks before that, that they were having a boy. I have only met her one time in person, and that one time she was absolutely wonderful and grateful for what she had. She is a strong mom, raising two boys on her own. It’s amazing to me how she has powered through the lose of her husband and gone on being happy and joyful, as a mom I think you’re strong for your children.

With all that being said, I am donating all six of my mini sessions on October 21st to her and her boys. I would love to be able to fill the last two spots that I have. You are getting a family session with 5 digital negatives, in return your session will be benefitting a Mother and her two young boys.

this photo was taken by mom, a week before Chase passed.

I absolutely felt so honored to be apart of this special day. Mom and dad adopted a little girl from Ethopia, they had been waiting for this day for over 2 years, the day finally came, but dad wasn’t able to be there since he was deployed. Mom found Operation Love Reunited and was able to find me to come and take pictures of her getting her daughter to take home for the very first time. I felt so blessed to have been there. You could tell how much mom was already in love with her little girl and how long she had waited for this day, as the tears fell down her face. I tried everything in my power not to cry.

This happened back in June, but I wanted to wait until Dad got home to be able to post this, he just got home yesterday, YAY! Mom was kind enough to let me post a picture of her and her little girl! I couldn’t resist the sweetness! Her daughter is so gorgeous and has the cutest curly hair! I am happy to see clients get their families back together and happy I was able to be apart of such an amazing moment in someone’s life.

Dad didn’t know I was there until he received a photo book from me in the mail, he was touched by the book. I received an email from him in the morning when I woke up one day and I was in tears from his kind words. Sweet emails like that touch me and make me remember why I am involved in such an awesome organization to offer this to military families!
